Kevin Cochran, MBA

Kevin joined Hunter Street Investment Advisors in 2019 where he advises clients on investment and wealth planning, retirement income planning, tax-efficient investing, estate strategies and wealth transfer planning, concentrated stock management, insurance, succession planning, and mortgage management. Kevin began investing over thirty-five years ago, as a teenager. He gained formal financial training while earning his MBA degree from the University of North Carolina's Kenan-Flagler Business School where he concentrated in Finance and Marketing. He also has a Bachelor of Science degree from Vanderbilt University. He later spent over seven years managing development and investment in commercial real estate assets. In 2012, Kevin joined Verity Asset Management as a Financial Advisor working with high-net worth individuals, entrepreneurs, business executives and university faculty.

Kevin has a passion for coaching and planning for the future. Kevin has coached his kids in soccer and basketball from the recreational leagues through middle school. He enjoys serving our clients—bringing this same coaching and teaching approach to his client relationships.

When he gets off the “sidelines”, he enjoys playing golf, tennis, pickleball and basketball. He loves to hike North Carolina parks and to be actively involved in his church. Kevin made Cary, North Carolina home in 2000 and is thankful to continue living there with his wife of over 20 years and his three children.
